“A person dies twice: when their heart stops beating and when they are forgotten.” In Greece, the memory of the dead briefly survives through funeral notices that fill the streets. Worn down by time and weather, they are gradually covered and disappear—just like the memory they represent. This work focuses on these “final traces” of memory within the urban environment where they exist, and on their interaction with both animals and humans.
