The 19th Ionian University Photography Workshop Exhibition is taking place within the framework of the 19th Audiovisual Arts Festival of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts. The exhibition is curated by the individuals participating in the department’s photography workshop. The exhibition features colored and black and white images from the students, both analog and digital.
The opening of the exhibition is on May 8th of 2026 at 19:00 in the Flour Warehouses of the Old Fortress and it will run until the 24th of May. Visiting hours will be everyday from 12:00 to 17:00.

This action constitutes the 19th collective student's photography exhibition, continuing an initiative that has been taking place since 2006. Participation is free for students attending the department’s photography classes and workshops. The action promotes cooperation, exchange of opinions and developing the artistic vision of the participants through the evaluation and utilization of various and diverse (in style, colour pallet and techniques used) photographs produced by them, with the ultimate goal being the presentation of a collective artistic exhibition. These exhibitions are curated ,increasingly each year, by the students themselves. The responsibility for the final result lies with the Department's (informal) Photography Workshop.
