The thesis “Digital/Liquid Selves” explores the notion of identity within the contemporary digital condition, focusing on fluidity, transformation, and the mediation of the image. Using TouchDesigner, the project develops an audiovisual environment where the human form is deconstructed and recomposed in real time.
The work employs generative graphics and real-time processing techniques, producing a constantly shifting digital surface. The image operates as a fluid body, destabilizing the boundaries between physical and digital subjectivity.
On a theoretical level, the thesis examines the relationship between body and technology, as well as the construction of identity through digital media. The project is situated within digital and interactive art practices, highlighting the image as a site of continuous transformation.
