The multi-channel sound installation "EvoLab" is the collective semester project for the class of 2025-2026 of the Music Informatics course (AUD722). Each student participates with sounds designed and programmed by him/herself in SuperCollider. The sound installation represents a dynamic sound environment, in which Creatures act, producing sounds according to algorithms (programs) called Behaviors. Each student designs a Creature and is responsible for its Behavior, responding to messages (States) it receives from the environment. The following periodic States affect the Circadian Rhythm of each Sound Creature: Dawn, Day, Dusk, and Night, while non-periodically the State: Danger occurs.
