"hang on me" drifts through the residue of an event that cannot be spoken. A queer girl moves through a liminal landscape where grief, desire, and release fold into one another. In order to endure, the body multiplies itself: four figures emerge; not quite real, not entirely imagined, appearing as echoes, gestures, and ritualistic repetitions. Through acts of cleansing, holding, and caressing, bodies fragment and time loosens as the forest absorbs what language cannot contain. Suspended between the weight of what if and a newly claimed freedom, the film lingers in a state of becoming rather than resolution.
