A journey to the village of Asprogerakas on the island of Kefalonia, which—like much of the island—was destroyed by the deadly earthquake of August 1953. Through this documentary, I sought to bring to the surface the intergenerational memory and trauma of this place, while also connecting personally with my roots, as it is my father’s place of origin. The film focuses on my father’s wandering through the ruins of the village and his search for my grandfather's house, which was destroyed in the earthquake.
