A portrait of my father, who was born and raised in Tsasi, a small village near the town of Nafpaktos. My aim was to depict his connection to his homeland, as well as his everyday relationship with animals. My father's involvement with livestock farming has been a significant part of his life, as from a young age he developed a very special bond with animals. Today, he cares for them not for professional purposes, but mainly because he enjoys it. Ιt calms him and allows him to keep this connection alive. The village is now uninhabited, and the only place one can visit is the small church of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity), which serves as a meeting point for former residents of Tsasi once a year, during the church’s feast day. My father is one of the few who still visits the chapel, even if just to light a candle, keeping alive the memory of the families who once lived there.
