Stones from the Moon (One Day a Stone Came to Earth), an interactive audiovisual installation exploring the intersection of cosmic loneliness and human inertia. Drawing inspiration from an original short story of the same title written by the author, the work examines the tension between human presence and extraterrestrial matter, specifically highlighting our numbness when confronted by the transcendent. Systemically, the installation utilizes an ultrasonic proximity sensor interfaced with an Arduino microcontroller to track viewer proximity. This data is mapped in real-time within a Processing environment, modulating visual and sonic variables to transform the viewer from a passive observer into an active catalyst for the 'awakening' of the unknown.
