This project is a self-narrative short essay film, which tells a story that I am trapped into the puzzle of Aechmea fasciata. I am trying to find the meaning of myself after experiencing a series of fantasy imagination and retracing my personal memory. Finally, I relieved the obsession of meaning.
Pater/Son is a Paris-based filmmaker. He was a student in philosophy, and he kept vivid memories from this background and he really loves to spread some wise words in his work. He speaks fluently French and English. He has spent over a decade studying and working within Documentaries, Commercials, and Fiction, developing his visual style and sensibility. His wish now is to make more and more documentaries. He really loves to portrait people with both realism and fantasy.
