The Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University is organizing for the first time the AVARTS Pitching Lab, an Internship action aimed at bringing students into direct contact with the professional world.
This meeting is for you.
Not another lecture about what you'll do next, but your first direct encounter with the professional world. Reversing the Pitching Lab process, five (5) companies and organizations from different sectors present themselves directly to our vibrant student community: what they actually do, what they look for in a new collaborator, and what you stand to gain from working with them. After the presentations, an open Q&A follows — ask whatever interests you.
We are particularly pleased that this year we are bringing together an exceptionally strong group of participants: ADAF, Degree Zero Architects, Start TV Corfu, ΕΨΕΠ and LEAP — organizations of distinction and recognition, with different fields of work and a shared commitment to creativity and innovation.

ADAF is one of the most significant international digital arts festivals in the Mediterranean. Since 2003, it has been bringing art, technology and culture into dialogue through exhibitions, installations, performances and educational programmes. An architecture practice founded by Dimitris Kolonis and Zetta Kotsioni, both former associates of the world-renowned firm Zaha Hadid Architects (2012–2019). With studies at the Pratt Institute and the Architectural Association (AA) in London, they bring a combination of rigorous design thinking and radical aesthetics. Their projects include work for major institutions such as the Bank of Greece, and in 2023 they participated in the Venice Architecture Biennale with the work «The decay of lying» at Palazzo Mora. They are a practice with a strong interest in the intersection of architecture, image and digital design.

The leading regional television station of Corfu and the Ionian Islands, with a history dating back to 1993. It broadcasts local news, current affairs programmes and general content, and since 2012 has also broadcast nationally via OTE TV. It also operates Radio Corfu 100.1. This is a complete media environment — television, radio, digital platforms — offering opportunities to those interested in production, journalism, audiovisual content and communication.
ΕΨΕΠ — Ioannina Day Centre for Dementia www.epsep.gr
The Society for Psychosocial Research and Intervention (ΕΨΕΠ) operates the Ioannina Day Centre for Dementia, a unit providing daily therapeutic care for individuals with dementia and mild cognitive impairment. Integrated into the National Strategic Action Plan for Dementia, it covers the Mental Health Sector of Ioannina-Thesprotia. Beyond its therapeutic dimension, the organization develops activities in the field of art and culture as tools for social intervention — a field of growing interest for students of audiovisual arts.
LEAP — Creative Agency | Metaverse Architects www.leap.gr
An award-winning creative studio based in Athens with an international presence. It has delivered over 50 immersive Metaverse experiences worldwide, combining artificial intelligence, AR/VR, holographic projections, XR and interactive installations. It has been awarded Gold and Platinum at the Boussias Event Awards for its Apple Vision Pro experience. It operates across the fields of education, health and culture, developing applications and digital installations that transform the way audiences interact with content.
