Short Description: An introductory talk on research in social and interactive viewing experiences, combined with a hands-on exploration of how to design, conduct, and analyse UX evaluation processes for digital entertainment applications.
Short BIO: Jorge Abreu is an associate professor in the Department of Communication and Art at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He holds a PhD in Sciences and Technology of Communication and is the coordinator of the Social and Interactive Viewing Experiences Research Group (http://socialivx.web.ua.pt). His primary research focuses on the transformation of the TV ecosystem, in its broader concept, encompassing the user's experience in audiovisual content consumption across a diverse network of sources and devices.
