Renata Dalianoudi, Associate Professor at the Dept. of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, is invited to offer a three-hour seminar at the Department of Theatre Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, within the framework of the undergraduate course “Shadow Theatre and Puppetry 2. Encounters” (Professor: Dr. Anthi Chotzakoglou).
The seminar’s theme is: “MUSIC IN SHADOW THEATRE. THE ROLE of FOLK and POPULAR MUSIC. CASE STUDY: ‘Alexander the Great and the Enchanted Serpent’ by Eugenios Spatharis, with music by Manos Hadjidakis.”
The seminar takes place on Friday, 12 December, 12:00–15:00, at the School of Philosophy, National Kapodistrian University of Athens (Room 916, 9th floor).
