Renata Dalianoudi, Associate Professor at the Dept. of Audio & Visual Arts, Ionian University, participates in the 17th Interdepartmental Musicological Conference, whose general theme is: “Operetta: Ruptures, Continuities, and Transnational Approaches.”
Her paper is titled: "From the operetta 'The Elixir of Love' by K. Giannidis, performed at the Greek National Opera, to the Drag Oratorio 'Songs of the Greek people' by Giannis Skourletis: A queer reading of Kostas Giannidis.”
The Conference is co-organized by the five Departments of Music and Musicology in Greece (Dept. of Music Studies, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; Dept. of Music Studies, Ionian University; Dept. of Music Studies, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; Dept. of Music Science and Art, University of Macedonia; and Dept. of Music Studies, University of Ioannina).
The conference is hosted and organized by the Ionian University in Corfu.
The Conference takes place from 7-9.11.2025, at the Ionian Academy and the Concert Hall of the Old Philharmonic, Corfu.
