Renata Dalianoudi, Associate Professor at the Department of Audio & Visual Arts, Ionian University, and Panagiotis Sdoukos, performer and PhD candidate at the Dept. of Audio & Visual Arts, present the digital audiovisual performance “E(D)ros and Helen” at the IFPA 7, themed “Homelands– Return to Hora”, they and will give a lecture on "The Homeland and Eterotopy of Folk Performance in the Audiovisual Arts" (September 25, 2025).
The performance is inspired by Greek folk song and popular ritual practices mediated in the cinema, and was created by the Edros group of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts Ionian University, with the participation of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Corfu, inspired & directed by Panagiotis Sdoukos under the scientific supervision of Renata Dalianoudi.
