As part of the program for the celebration of the 20 years of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, the Interactive Arts Laboratory and the MA Programme Audiovisual Arts in the Digital Age announce two events by the artist Filippos Tsitsopoulos on November 5-6, 2024:

  • Tuesday, 5 November 2024, at 21:00, at Polytechno: "Who will record the history of tears'' performance 
  • Wednesday, November 6 2024, at 11:00-13:00, at the Ionian Academy: "I live because we outline ourselves,” guest lecture-performance 

The guest lecture is open to all the students of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts within the framework of the course Art of Performance and Video Art(coordination: teachers Christina Mitsani Maria Krigka. 

Philippos Tsitsopoulos was born in Athens in 1967, lives and works in London. He began his studies at the School of Fine Arts of Thessaloniki at the Aristotle University and continued in Madrid at the Complutense University, where he completed his doctorate (1996).
