Dr. Ioannis Deliyannis
Affiliation: Dept. of Audio & Visual Arts, Ionian University, Corfu, Greece.
Background: Dr. Ioannis Deliyannis is a founding member of the Interactive Arts Research laboratory. His work spans the development of interactive multimedia systems, including experimental television, multi-sensory games, and user-centered software products. His research focuses on gamification, augmented and virtual reality, and the design of intelligent interactive systems.
Dr. Vitor Lemos
Affiliation: University of Aveiro
Background: Dr. Victor Lemos is a assistant professor in the Department of Communication and Art at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, specializing in audiovisual narrative production and transmedia development. With over 15 years of experience in the creative industry, Lemos has lived and worked in Portugal, Spain, and Brazil, developing projects and business opportunities with global channels and brands. He has produced films and series internationally broadcast and licensed to major networks such as BBC, TV Globo, Discovery Channel, and Netflix. His notable works include the Official Documentary of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and music videos featuring Anitta, Tropkillaz, Neymar, Ronaldo, and Anderson Silva, which have collectively garnered over 300 million views. Recently, Lemos produced and directed the top-rated Brazilian series "CNN Série Originais - Vinhos de Portugal," a production for CNN Brazil, and wrote and produced the series "iMLOVE – O Hacker do Amor," currently airing on RTP Play.
Dr. Pavel Varacha
Affiliation: Institute of Informatics and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Applied Informatics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic.
Background: Dr. Pavel Vařacha is an assistant professor (from 2006) at the Institute of Informatics and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Applied Informatics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic. He received his doctorate, defending a dissertation on research and optimization of neural networks using evolutionary algorithms. As a teacher, he currently supervises Geographic Information Systems and Advanced Programming labs. His interests cover practical game development in UnReal, Godot, and Unity. Currently, he is expanding a scientific team of graduates and doctoral students dealing with projects aimed at serious game development and game-based learning.
Dr. Roman Jasek,
Affiliation: Department of Informatics and Artificial Intelligence, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic.
Background: Professor Mgr. Roman Jašek, Ph.D. is the Head of the Department of Informatics and Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Applied Informatics at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Currently, he is a guarantor of Master and PhD study programme Information Technology, specialising in Cyber Security and Software Engineering. In close cooperation with experts, he organises regular meetings of cybersecurity experts called “Process Management and Application of Modern Technologies”. For many years prof. Jašek held the position of the Vice President of the European Security Association. He participated in leading the military experts training of the V4 countries. He is a co-author of the international patent for “Identity and licence verification system for working with highly sensitive data”. He has led several research projects in applied sciences and has been awarded many prizes. More than ten students earned their doctoral degree under his supervision.
