OPEN ART, IONIAN UNIVERSITY
Open Art, the education, training and lifelong learning program (KEDIVIM) of the Ionian University, is pleased to announce the start of the 2nd course in the Spring Term. The program is entirely distance learning, and courses are delivered through modern and asynchronous educational technology. It starts in March and ends at the end of May.
The 1st cycle program has been successfully completed, and soon graduate works will be presented in planned exhibitions of the Ionian University, in collaboration with the Athens Digital Art Festival in Athens and Corfu.
The 2nd cycle includes only independent courses. Participants have the possibility to choose one or more courses offering specialization and deepening in the field of Art, Technology, Sciences, Society. A 20% discount is provided for participation in 2 or more courses.
The courses focus on the fields of Audiovisual Arts, Musical Arts, Entrepreneurship, and are implemented by renowned teachers of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, as well as by specialized certified external collaborators.
In the spring season, OPEN ART offers the following courses:
- Writing artistic proposals for funding
- Sound design and soundtrack
- Video artist
- Directing and producing short films
- Creative entrepreneurship
The program is aimed at anyone who wishes to expand their knowledge in the field of arts in the digital age, through the use of new technologies and interactive media. More specifically, to professionals, students and graduates of schools of architecture, fine arts, teachers, archaeologists, museologists, music studies, IT, but also amateurs with an interest in digital arts.
The courses will take place weekly, remotely, in the evening hours and will host up to 20 people. Upon completion of the program, participants will be awarded a certificate of successful completion.
The deadline for submission of participation applications has been extended and ends on February 19.
