Lecture of Assistant Professor Angeliki Malakasioti at Tulane University, Department of Philosophy

Assistant Professor Angeliki Malakasioti participated in the Tulane Philosophy Club organized in Tulane University, School of Liberal Arts, Department of Philosophy, New Orleans, presenting her research on the theme: "Melancholia: Sadness and Beauty in Video Game Environments", on October 21st, 2020.

The lecture presented aspects of emotional design in the context of digital environments, and explored emotive ontology as a representational system, an interaction mechanism, as well as an audiovisual language which is inscribed in the contemporary cultural condition of ‘experience consumerism’.
