The team of Open Art, educational, training and lifelong learning programme of the Ionian University (https://openart.avarts.ionio.gr/) is pleased to announce the start of the 2nd course. The course is distance learning and starts in the last week of October.

The 1st cycle programme has been successfully completed and soon graduates' work will be presented in two scheduled exhibitions, in collaboration with the Athens Digital Art Festival (ADAF) at the Historic Triangle of Athens in October and at the Eugenides Foundation (Planetarium) in November 2020.
The 2nd cycle is being developed with stand-alone courses, in winter and spring. Participants have the opportunity to choose one or more courses to deepen their knowledge in the field of Art, Technology, Science, Society with a total discount of 20%. The following fields of knowledge will be the focus of the courses taught by renowned faculty from the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University and other institutions.

The programme is addressed to anyone who wishes to broaden their knowledge in the field of arts in the digital age, through the use of new technologies and interactive media. More specifically, to professionals, students and graduates of schools of architecture, fine arts, teachers, archaeologists, museologists, music studies, computer science, as well as amateurs with an interest in digital arts.
The courses will take place weekly, remotely, in the afternoons and will accommodate up to 20 people. On completion of the programme, participants will be awarded a certificate of specialised training.
The deadline for applications is strictly extended until 30 September 11 October 2020. Early Registration until 20 September 30 September with 10% discount.
