Dear colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that the University's Training and Lifelong Learning Centre has completed the actions required for the start of its smooth operation.
As it is known, the Training and Lifelong Learning Centre (KEDIVIM) is a unit of the Ionian University that ensures the coordination and interdisciplinary cooperation in the development of training, continuing education, training and lifelong learning programmes in general, contributing to the achievement of the mission of the Foundation.
The KEDIVIM of the Ionian University aims at linking the University with the people of science and culture and its interaction with citizens, in a way that satisfies the real needs of society for continuous education and professional upgrading within the framework of promoting equality of access to education and knowledge.
The Centre's activities may take a variety of forms, which will obviously be determined by relevant contemporary societal needs, and will link theoretical and practical knowledge, developing in particular the applied dimension of science in the relevant professional fields.
