Τhe fourth international conference "Taboo - Transgression - Transcendence in Art & Science" will take place November 26–28, 2020, exclusively online as TTT2020 Vienna/Online, an umbilical cord between what would be and what it is.

Under the current situation it is impossible to guarantee the required safety for the organization of a face to face experience at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Austria. Including theoretical and art practice presentations, TTT2020 continues to focus (a) on questions about the nature of the forbidden and aesthetics of liminality as expressed in art that uses or is inspired by technology and science, and (b) on the opening of spaces for creative transformation in the merging of science and art.

The digital venue for TTT2020 Vienna/Online is coordinated by the InArts Lab, directed by Andreas Giannakoulopoulos, Associate Professor at the Ionian University. All TTT2020 Vienna/Online streams will be available in video-on-demand format after the conference. The proceedings of TTT2020 will be published in two parts: as a special issue in the Technoetic Arts journal, by Intellect, and as a digital publication, with an ISBN number by an academic publishing house.

A brainchild of Dalila Honorato, Assistant Professor at the Ionian University, the TTT conference series is supported by its Steering Committee whose members also include: Roy Ascott (UK), Gunalan Nadarajan (USA), Melentie Pandilovski (Australia), Stelarc (Australia), Polona Tratnik (Slovenia), Adam Zaretsky (USA) and Andreas Floros (GR), Professor and presently the Rector of the Ionian University.
