AV-school hosts educational activities that take place in the framework of the Audiovisual Arts Festival. From its beginning, in 2006, the Festival has included in its program workshops & seminars focusing on theoretical and practical issues related to new media arts, such as 3D Animation, SuperCollider, electroacoustic music, radio art, virtual environments, psychogeography, research methodology and circuit bending.

In 2015 these educational activities were given their own section in the website of the Audiovisual Arts Festival, with the seminars "Art & Communication", in collaboration with the University of Athens, followed, in 2016, by the vigorous presentation of 18 workshops and seminars.

In 2017 and 2018 the "Hybrid Art" series took place, expanding the educational content to include the field of art & biology as well as that of space & embodiment.

The educational activities to be presented in Corfu and online in the upcoming AV-school 2022, taking place within the framework of the 15th Audiovisual Arts Festival, are open to all members of the academic community and the general public. Registration to both workshops and seminars is free of charge and a certificate of attendance will be provided to all attendees.
