AV-School is an integral part of the educational activities hosted within the framework of the Audiovisual Arts Festival. Since its inception in 2006, the Festival has consistently incorporated workshops and seminars that explore both theoretical and practical dimensions of new media arts, film, performance art, and hybrid arts.

The Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University is pleased to announce the opening of the 18th Audiovisual Arts Festival, which will take place in Corfu from Thursday, May 8 to Sunday, May 18. On Thursday 08/05/2025 at 19:30 at the People's Garden (Gallery of the Municipality of Central Corfu) the opening of the 18th Festival of Audiovisual Arts (8 May - 18 May 2025) will take place.

The AV-school, the seminar and workshop series of the Audio-Visual Arts Festival, will take place at the Public Central Historical Library of Corfu, from May 12 to 16, 2025. This year’s theme, "Intersections", invites participants from all backgrounds who are interested in contemporary art and new technologies.
