This research proposal raises questions about the subject of death in the art of the digital age through the production of art. The questions focus on how digital art approaches this topic and how through the evolution of technology and consequently digital art, a deeper approach to this topic can be achieved. Through research, ways will be sought on how the production of a work of art affects a philosophical issue such as that of death.

Alkistis Georgiou graduated Film Department bachelor degree in School of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has completed the postgraduate master degree "Audiovisual Arts in the Digital Age" from the Department of Audio & Visual Arts, Ionian University. Her ongoing Phd studies deals with the subject of death in the art of the digital age. As an artistic research, the thesis will also have a practical part, in which there will be creative writing exercises, interactive installations and the creation of a film. The writing of the latter will occur after data collection and creative writing exercises).
