Post Doctoral Research Abstract: My work aims on the statistical investigation of Linked Open Data regarding cultural heritage. More specifically, my study will focus on their structure and the possibility of augmenting information and extraction of insights through Machine Learning techniques and the Semantic Web. Μethods for linking to known cultural heritage databases for data collection and storage in graph form (non-Euclidean data) will also be developed. These data will be processed and used for the purpose of statistical learning focusing on non-Euclidean specialized techniques for extracting relationships and correlations, digital Art databases and the semantic web.
