PhD research topic:
This dissertation aims at examining aspects of political art in the digital age, primarily through the production of artwork. The research focuses on the possibilities provided by digital technologies for the creation of digital artworks and mainly interactive installations that raise political issues and attempt social intervention (activism). Methodologically, the doctoral research is registered in the field of art practice as research.
Born in 1990 in Greece. Graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Aristotle University in 2014. In 2019 he completed a Master in “Audiovisual Arts in the Digital Age” at the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University. He has created a work for public space basis titled “On a burned piano”, exhibited permanently at the University of Macedonia and has displayed his work in six solo exhibitions and in more than 50 groupshows. In 2017 he represented Greece in Mediterranea 18 Young Artists Biennale "Home". He has delivered seminars at academic institutions. Since 2020 is a PhD candidate at the Department of Audio & Visual Arts, Ionian University.
