The Terrabytes Glitch Lab, a phygital collective founded by Augusto Calçada and Xristina Sarli, announces the launch of the TTTLab Official VR World. Developed during their online interaction with participants of the TTTlabs BioFeral.BeachCamp Fall 2024 on the island of Crete from September 15 to 25, this immersive virtual reality project brings together artists, researchers, and technologists to explore new forms of creative expression that blend the digital and physical worlds.

Dr. Heidi Hehnly-Chang (USA) and Dr. Boryana Rossa (Bulgaria/USA) from Syracuse University have been selected to participate in TTTfellows: Art and Science Residency 2024 Fall taking place on 23 September - 4 October 2024 (online) and 7-18 October 2024 in-person on the island of Corfu. TTTfellows is organized by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, within the framework of Rewilding Cultures, a project co-financed by the European Union, and will be hosted in collaboration with the Corfu Central Public Historical Library - Corfu Tech Lab, the Corfu Aquarium and BiHELab.

We want to thank everyone who applied for the Rewilding Cultures Mobility Conversation 2024. We received over 100 applications and the Rewilding Cultures partner associations have now gone through all of the applications. Each partner association selected their own candidate, which means we were able to issue grants for 8 applicants. In the end, Rob la Frenais (Cultivamos Cultura), Višnja Kisić and Goran Tomka (Bioart Society), Miranda Moss (Schmiede Hallein), Björn Kröger (Radiona), Maryia Kamarova (ART2M / Makery), Alqumit Alhamad (Culture Yard), Johanna Ruotsalainen (Projekt Atol), and Ghazal Ramzani (Ionian University) were selected to receive a grant for their project.

The TTTfellows II – Artificial Insemination - successfully concluded its sessions from March 1st to 15th (online) and continued on-site from March 18th to 29th, 2024, on Corfu and Othonoi Islands. The program, detailed on the Ionian University residencies' website, focused on exploring Artificial Insemination, In Vitro Fertilization, Germline Gene Editing and Zombie Studies. It engaged a select group of participants, including Robert Lisek, Clarissa Ribeiro, Adam Zaretsky and Dalila Honorato, whose diverse backgrounds and expertise enriched the discussions and practices.

Rewilding Cultures (RC) is a Creative Europe collaboration project, which wants to reposition the wild within the field of art practices connecting to science and technology. As the European cultural sector has been and still is affected by multiple subsequent and coincident crises (incl. COVID-19, war-induced inflation, migration) we need to rewild on terms fit for the present and future.
