Konstantinos Vogklis is Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism at the Ionian University. He holds a Diploma, M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Ioannina. His research focuses on high-performance computing, machine learning, and big data analytics, including applications in image, sound, and tourism systems. He has also developed augmented reality applications for cultural heritage, while his recent research integrates remote sensing, machine learning, and social media data to assess tourism pressure, visitor experience, and sustainability, contributing to innovative, data-driven solutions for modern tourism ecosystems.
