AV-School is an integral part of the educational activities of the Audiovisual Arts Festival (AVfest), organized in Corfu by the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University  in collaboration with the ERHMEE Lab of the Department of Music Studies.Since its foundation, AV-School has functioned as a space for dialogue between theory and practice in contemporary audiovisual arts.

The theme of AV-School 2026, Passages, focuses on processes of transition and in-between states, where experience remains open to transformation. AV-School approaches audiovisual practices as continuously moving processes, highlighting the intermediate as a space for reflection, observation, and creation.
