Panagiotis Anastasiadis is  Professor of Lifelong and Distance Education using ICT in the Department of Primary Education at the University of Crete.

Founder & Director of the Laboratory of Advanced Learning Technologies in Lifelong and Distance Education [E.D.I.B.E.A.- eLearning Lab

Founder & Director of the Master’s Program: Educational Sciences – Distance Education using ICT (e-Learning: Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, 3D Animation).

 He is the author of ten books published by Greek and international publishing houses, and more than 200 of his papers on the pedagogical use of Advanced Learning Technologies in the field of Distance Education and Lifelong Learning have been published in international scientific journals and conference proceedings.

Since 2008, he has been a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the international scientific journal Computers & Education, published by ELSEVIER.
