Description:
Under the Audiovisual Arts festival organised by the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of Ionian University, we are going to host a pitching event with the collaboration of Drama Pitching Lab section of the Drama International Short Film Festival. Ten selected projects will be presented by the students of the Department of Audio & Visual Arts and the students of Open Art (Continuing & Lifelong Education Centre of Ionian University/ Department of Audio & Visual Arts). The main instructor of the workshop will be Barbara Douka (Head of the educational Lab of International Short Film Festival in Drama). She will focus on the core principles of pitching a project and she will help the participants to perfect their pitching.
The event will open with Yannis Sakaridis, Creative Director of Drama International Short Film Festival. The workshop will start with Thanasis Neofotistos, the Head Programmer of Student International Competition of Drama Int. Short Film Festival. He will present the Student competition part of the festival. The event has been created and planned by Iakovos Panagopoulos (Academic teaching staff/ Department of Audio & Visual Arts) with the valuable collaboration of Maria Chalkou (Academic teaching staff/ Department of Audio & Visual Arts).

*During the workshops only, the selected participants will be able to pitch their projects but the event is open for everyone
Requirements to participate:
The participants will have to prepare their pitching and if they wish a Power Point presentation. The pitching will last 10 minutes (5 minutes for the presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A). The audience does not have to be prepared.
