The Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University is happy to announce the start of its first Summer School in Hybrid Arts. The Summer School will take place in the island of Corfu. It will begin on May 29th, 2017 and will run for two weeks, divided in two cycles.

As part of the Summer School, the Department of Audio and Visual Arts wishes to organize a team of volunteers, open to anyone with a drive to help the Summer School through their own special knowledge and skills.

The team of volunteers is put together not only for the duration of the Summer School but also for its preparation. The fields in which volunteers are asked to help are: 1. Technical support 2. Reception-seminar venues 3. Coverage (video-photography). The volunteer program sets out to create a team of people who are willing to take up initiatives, exchange ideas and carry out tasks that are necessary for the organization of the Summer School. At the same time, through this process, volunteers will be able to develop new skills and acquire useful experiences regarding their studies and interests. Each volunteer can choose, according to the time at his or her disposal, the field that he or she wishes to work in.
