Kristin Lucas

Kristin Lucas is an artist exploring connectivity as both an interpersonal process and a condition of the digital age, shaped by ecological, technological and epistemological forces alike. Through experimental research and approaches, she unsettles boundaries and regimes of thinking to imagine and embody alternative realities. Her practice embraces research as an ongoing process of relation: embodied, situated, and continually emerging, and often involves collaboration with humans and nonhumans, and DIY/DIT/DIWO methods.

Her work has been featured in Art in America, Engadget, and Hyperallergic; commissioned by Dia Center for the Arts, FACT Liverpool, and the Whitney Museum; and recently performed at BioFeral.BeachCamp 2024 (Crete) and Taboo-Transgression-Transcendence 2025 (Ljubljana). Lucas holds a BFA from The Cooper Union and an MFA from Stanford University.
