Internal Regulation for Half-Tuition Waiver Merit-Based Achievement

Article 1 -- Purpose and Scope
The Half-Tuition Waiver program offers financial support to eligible students (both Greek and international) in the MARes in Hybrid Arts program based on:

Merit-Based Achievement. Each waiver covers 50% of the semester tuition fees (1,000€)  and aims to promote academic excellence while ensuring equitable access to education.

Article 2 -- Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship program is open to both Greek and international students. Applicants must meet the following base requirements:

  1. Be enrolled as full-time students in the MARes in Hybrid Arts program
  2. Maintain satisfactory academic progress
  3. Apply under the following category:

Merit-Based Criteria: complete all first-semester courses (Art Research Methods, Project  Sustainability, Media Archaeology, Art Project Support) and achieve a minimum overall score  of 8/10.

Article 3 -- Required Documentation
Applications with documentation must be submitted in either Greek or English: Merit-Based Applications: Academic transcripts.

Article 4 -- Evaluation Process
Assessment will be made by the Program Committee based on:
Merit-Based Evaluation: Academic Performance based on weighted grade average and  project proposal evaluation in case of impasse.

Article 5 -- Selection and Notification
Notification via email to all applicants

Article 6 -- Appeals
1. a) Submission within five (5) working days of decision including: new/additional documentation, detailed explanation for reconsideration.
2. b) Appeal decisions are final.

Article 7 -- Terms and Conditions

  1. a) Maintain full-time enrollment
  2. b) Non-transferable to other students/years
  3. c) Valid for one semester
  4. d) Report significant changes in circumstances
  5. e) Confidential handling of all documentation
