I am Nicolás Parise Schneider, a geographer and researcher from Mendoza, Argentina, specializing in political ecology and water management. I work at the Institute of Human, Social and Environmental Sciences (INCIHUSA–CONICET) and teach at the National University of Cuyo, where I coordinate socio-educational practices that connect students with environmental organizations. My work bridges academic research, community engagement, and artistic collaboration. I also teach Political Ecology at the Higher Education Institute “General San Martín.” In 2022, I carried out a residency at the Centro Cultural Toda la Teoría del Universo in Biobío, Chile, developing participatory methodologies with communities defending water rights. My current projects focus on collective research practices in socio-environmental conflicts across Latin America, seeking to build situated knowledge for more just territorial transformations. Currently I'm working as a map illustrator within the framework of the “Plan Colibrí” project and an Atlas of river basins with “Microutopias” publishing house.
