ΣΟΦΙΑ is an interdisciplinary artist and curator of Russia’s interdisciplinary art database. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Physics from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (2015–2019) and a Master’s degree in Art & Science from ITMO University (2021).

Group work with her participance has been featured at Ars Electronica: Pangardenia (2020), and she co-curated the cultural-educational program “Grounding” (shortlisted for the Innovation Prize, 2021). She has exhibited at Marina Gisich Projects (NII Paranature, 2021–2022), Krasnokholmskaya Gallery (Message Space, 2023, Moscow), and Tsiferhaus Gallery (Evolution, 2024). In 2023, she won the ASTA Award in the Bio-Art category.

ΣΟΦΙΑ’s artistic practice explores the organization of life, biosemiotics, and interspecies interactions.
