Artist and educator Kristina Bozhurska will present insights from her MARes research and artistic practice. Working across painting, drawing, text, video, and participatory approaches, her work explores the intersections of art, pedagogy, and socio-political observation. Through carefully curated materials and visual references, she draws attention to the discarded, forgotten, and overlooked, inviting reflection on dominant narratives and possibilities for transformation.

MSG Talk with Zoe Lomax

Visual artist and environmental researcher Zoe Lomax will share her ongoing MARes project developed in collaboration with local communities in Corfu. Through participatory photography and co-creative exhibition-making, her research explores how environmental change shapes memory, emotion, and collective experience. Drawing from environmental studies, artistic practice, and community engagement, her work investigates how people perceive, remember, and respond to changing landscapes.

Geographer and researcher Nicolás Parise Schneider will present his ongoing work at the intersection of political ecology, water governance, and collaborative research practices. Drawing on experiences in Argentina and Chile, his research combines community engagement, environmental justice, cartography, and participatory methodologies to examine socio-environmental conflicts and collective responses to territorial challenges. His current projects focus on situated forms of knowledge production that contribute to more equitable ecological futures.
