Within the course Project Sustainability, Adam Zaretsky will present his work on Transpecies Art, a provocative and experimental approach to bio-art that challenges the boundaries between human and non-human life. His work explores interspecies communication, genetic modification, and the ethical implications of biotechnological interventions in art.

Adam Zaretsky is a bioartist, researcher, and educator working at the crossroads of art and biology. With a background in molecular biology, Zaretsky integrates hands-on wet-lab techniques with performance, philosophy, and speculative fiction. He has collaborated with leading institutions, including MIT and SymbioticA, and has exhibited and lectured internationally on transgenic art, biopolitics, and the aesthetics of the post-natural world.
