Elias Stouraitis is an educator specializing in game-based learning, digital storytelling, and artificial intelligence in education. His doctoral dissertation focused on digital games, highlighting the role of interaction, simulation, and participatory storytelling in shaping historical experience. He is conducting postdoctoral research on historical imagination in the age of artificial intelligence, developing innovative theoretical and didactic frameworks for understanding how algorithmic environments transform historical thinking. He has participated in European and international research programs of research and development departments, as well as university laboratories, concerning artificial intelligence in education, public history, creativity, empathy, and digital storytelling through social networks, while he has contributed to the design of educational games, such as “Byron”. He has taught in postgraduate programs in Digital History and collaborates with cultural institutions, promoting the connection of research with practice through interactive and innovative forms of learning.
