Digital Culture & AudioVisual Challenges

This research-creation project retools the atlas as a participatory device that circulates between critical geography, political ecology, literary fiction, and digital illustration. Developed through collaboration with socio-environmental organizations in the Biobio region (Chile), it follows the River headwaters to assemble maps, species portraits, field notes, and narratives that thicken ecological description and support environmental education. The atlas aims to democratize knowledge and strengthen community-led restoration along the Biobio River basin.
