OXID is a cooperative steampunk dungeon crawler board game where players explore a ruined world shaped by discarded inventions and toxic heavy-metal pollution. In the game’s fiction, abandoned automatons now roam as “toxic husks,” spreading contamination across the dungeon as time passes. Players enter the ruins searching for a legendary flower believed to cleanse the land by binding heavy metals—but the method is untested, and survival is not guaranteed.
Designed for 1–4 players, OXID combines procedural tile exploration, a shared action-point economy, and an escalating pollution system that alters risk and decision-making throughout play. The team must reach the Flower Vault, defeat a boss guarding the bloom, and return alive to the Entrance to win—while pollution continuously spreads and intensifies the dungeon’s threat level.
