The Terrabytes Glitch Lab, a phygital collective founded by Augusto Calçada and Xristina Sarli, announces the launch of the TTTLab Official VR World. Developed during their online interaction with participants of the TTTlabs BioFeral.BeachCamp Fall 2024 on the island of Crete from September 15 to 25, this immersive virtual reality project brings together artists, researchers, and technologists to explore new forms of creative expression that blend the digital and physical worlds.
The TTTLab Official VR World reflects Terrabytes Glitch Lab’s commitment to open-source innovation, connecting bio-life, technology, and art in a collaborative digital platform. Through this project, the Lab fosters inclusivity and creativity by amplifying a shared digital space where global participants can engage with one another, regardless of location, to explore the future of art and technology.

The VR world debuted as part of the broader TTTlabs BioFeral.BeachCamp Fall 2024 events, which took place from September 15-25, 2024, in-person on Crete. Organized by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University within the framework of Rewilding Cultures, a project co-financed by the European Union, the event was hosted by the Athens School of Fine Arts’ Annex of Rethymno. The scientific coordinator for the event was Dalila Honorato, with Adam Zaretsky serving as the art director and contributions by Yiannis Melanitis.
