AV-School is an integral part of the educational activities of the Audiovisual Arts Festival (AVfest), organized in Corfu by the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University  in collaboration with the ERHMEE Lab of the Department of Music Studies.Since its foundation, AV-School has functioned as a space for dialogue between theory and practice in contemporary audiovisual arts. 

The theme of AV-School 2026, Transfigurations, explores the dynamics of flow, where experience is fluid and subject to constant reconfiguration. Audiovisual creations, a unique realm of observation, critique and expression, harness intersections and, by multiplying synapses and narratives, interweave worlds.
