Athanasios Tsipis (PhD, MSc, BSc in Informatics) is an Assistant Professor of Digital Culture in the Department of Digital Media and Communication at Ionian University, Argostoli, Kefalonia, Greece. His published work includes numerous research papers in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and conferences. In 2021, he was honored with the Best Paper Award from the 26th IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (IEEE ISCC 2021) while, in 2024, he was the recipient of the Best Paper Award from the 5th Pan-Hellenic Conference on Digital Cultural Heritage (EuroMed 2023).
