Ekavi is currently an adjunct professor of Psychology of Visual Perception in Art and Art History at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Her research interests focus on multisensory visitor engagement in museum exhibitions, particularly on how the senses of smell and taste can be used as a means of interpreting art in an alternative way, thus helping visitors perceive art through a different perspective.
