Vasileios Komianos

Assistant Professor
Vasileios Komianos is an Assistant Professor in Mixed Reality Systems at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts, Ionian University, Greece. He holds a B.Sc. in Informatics and Telecommunications, an M.Sc. in Informatics, and a PhD in Digital Cultural Heritage and Mixed Reality from Ionian University. His research focuses on immersive technologies (VR/AR/MR), interactive multimedia systems, video games, and their applications in arts, cultural heritage, smart tourism, and education. He has participated in several research projects related to digital cultural heritage and immersive environments and is actively involved in initiatives such as the AVARTS Live Game Hub, promoting game design and interactive media innovation.
