Mahboobeh Mohammmadzaki is a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Media Studies at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen. She is studying the application of AR in nature-related issues. She received an MA in Animation and a BA in Graphic Design in Iran. She is also an independent animator and has created three short animations to date, and has collaborated with the International Trickfilm Festival Stuttgart (ITFS) as a member of the pre-selection committee. She worked as a graphic designer for more than ten years, freelancing for various societies and organisations.
