
Pinelopi Akritidou was born in 1994 in Thessaloniki and graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Fine and Applied Arts, with a BA and MA in Painting in 2018. In 2022, she completed a Master’s Degree in Art Law and Cultural Management at the International Hellenic University. Now, in 2026, she is a postgraduate student of the University of Nicosia.
In 2019, she held her first solo exhibition at Artforum Gallery in Thessaloniki. Before that, she had participated in numerous group exhibitions in Greece, as well as in Venice, Zurich, and Berlin, presenting works that explore themes of symbolism and identity. In 2018, she was awarded the 2nd prize in the international art competition "Breakthrough", organized by Takeda.Art/Help in Moscow. In 2016, she participated in an artist residency program in Berlin. She took part in the Art Thessaloniki International Contemporary Art Fair in both 2018 and 2019. In 2022, she presented a duo exhibition at Art Appel Gallery in Athens. In 2023, she began a collaboration with Agora Gallery in New York. Continues to this day to participate in many group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
Texts and presentations of her work have been published in art magazines such as Days of Art in Greece, Pause Art Magazine, and Topikap.
