Improvised Chimeras is a research project that explores evolution as an improvisational, relational process through multispecies, somatic, and speculative art practices. Drawing on evolutionary biology and feminist science studies, the work treats symbiosis as a lived condition co-produced through proximity and shared environments. Through embodied experiments, transspecies imaginaries, and collaborative practices, the project investigates how evolutionary processes such as co-regulation and microbial exchange can be sensed and rehearsed through art.
