TTTfellows: Art and Science Residency takes place on 1-15 March (online) and 18-29 March 2024 in Corfu. Works in Corfu town will be located at the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University while part of the works depending on weather conditions will be developed in Othonoi. The first annex of the Department of Audio & Visual Arts of the Ionian University was inaugurated in 2021 in the westernmost point of Greece, in Othoni, aiming to host residencies for scientists and artists developing activities in new media art practice and research. Integrating the archipelagos of Diapontia in the Ionian Sea, northwest of Corfu, the annex named “Kalogerou” is located in Chorio, the main settlement of the island. At an altitude of 300 meters, this stone building was constructed in 1844 and was recently renovated with the use of traditional materials and style, inspired on the local architecture.
